There is a stillness about Dr. Potchanart Seebungkerd, or Coach Jimi as nearly everyone calls her, that unsettles noise. It is not an authoritarian quiet, not the heavy hush of rank, but a living silence, the kind that invites people to breathe again.

When she enters a room, screens dim, shoulders soften, air feels less crowded. She doesn’t have to ask for attention; attention arrives, the way a lake settles once the wind stops. She is not here to impress; she is here to witness. And in that witnessing, people remember themselves. 

“It’s not about teaching people what to know,” she tells me, voice warm, steady. “It’s about helping them remember who they really are.”
